This medication should have been black box by FDA many years. I took this medication at leasst 5 times in 7 months. It has totally ruined my right arm, wrist and hand. I've been told I have tendonitis in my wrist, thumb, and shoulder arthritis, STT arthritis and CTS. I have been fighting this since July '08. I have had PT, Ultra-sound, splints. I am now on my 2nd splint. Finally, I'm with a neuro-surgeon who specializes in hand disorder. All past docs have denied that CIPRO is the problem. Only one, a orth doc, said that if it was me he would never let anyone give me CIPRO AGAIN!!!!! The hand surgeon recognizes that CIPRO could be the problem. He has me wearing a customized splint, 24/7 for the next 6 weeks, completely resting my arm. What really ticks me off is trying to get an accurate diagonsis and treatment. Lexapro does not have a generic, so my doctors switch me to celexa when I cannot afford Lexapro because it is the closed generic match.
