Day 3 of 6 day pack, herniated disc in L4-L5, had aggrevated pain rt side of lower back and leg / foot numbness due to pressure on siatic nerve. Back in April of 2000(I was 22yrs old) My dr started giving me Remeron. It was the worst drug anyone could ask for! If you are taking this, STOP! Go see a new dr and ask about other drugs, Klonopin, Ativan etc. Remeron is EXTREMELY addictive and you will probably get terrible headaches on 1 side of your brain, almost like someone is squeezing your brain until you take a Remeron. It has the same effect on your heart, you may feel as if it's in a Vice being crushed! That's the withdrawals and signs of addiction and dependency. I would not wish this drug on my worst enemy. A dr attempted to give this drug to my 22yr old girlfriend. I was so disgusted that he would start a young, healthy female on SUCH a strong and drastic medication. She had NO business taking Remeron. She took Lexapro and did just fine. Ask other people that ARE'NT still taking this "sh*t" as it's called and I'm quite certain they will agree, Remeron is BAD NEWS! I have not had any problems w/my treatment and what I would really like to know is if there is a difference between the brand name lamictal & the generic that has now came out?
