I've been taking the Naprosyn now for 2 months. My heart palpitations are to a minimal finally! I love this medication but the coughing and the horseness in my voice has become so annoying. So I am now going to try micardis 40 mg once a day. I just read the reviews on this drug and hope I dont experience the side effects other people have had. I started taking 37.5 mg of Phentermine this week on Wensday, Nov. 17, 2010. I take 1 whole pill before breakfast, then another whole pill before lunch. My doctor put me on this dosage and medicine because I am 25 years old, 5"10 and I wieghed an embarrasing 335 pounds. It is now Friday, November 19, 2010 and I weigh 324.5 pds. which is a weight loss of 10.5 pds. in 3 days! I will join a gym on Monday. I cant eat half of what I used to before taking this pill. I was being greedy yesterday and tried to eat a whole bowl of brocolli and cheese soup from Subway and I immediately vomited. The drug tells my brain that the sight, thought or smell of food is disgusting so I dont even desire eating. Two setbacks though: 1.) I sleep only about 3-4 hrs a night. no more naps. nothing but energy but I hope this insomnia passes in a few weeks. 2.) I get a little out of breathe and heart palpitates sometimes when walking long distances. Overall, so far I'm happy. I just want to stay focused, get healthy and not feel fat and ugly anymore. I recently had surgery on my neck for spinal stenosis and used Oxycodone (10-325 tablet every 3 hours} for the inital 8 days after surgery. After that time, I stopped taking the painkiller as I thought the pain had subsided enough that I no longer needed it. I am also an epileptic and take a very strict daily dose of phenytoin(generic for Dilantin). The following day I began having aura's(mini-seisures)that continued until I started using the Oxycodone again. I made the mistake of abruptly stopping the use of the painkiller which could have resulted in a full-blown seisure!
