I have been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for 7 years for adult onset asthma and it worked. I never had to use my inhaler, had no wheezing or shortness of breath. Since switching to generic Ortho Tri-Cyclen I have had asthma attacks, used Symbicort and been awakened several times a week with asthma attacks needing Xoponex to relieve. Saw my doctor on Monday and was placed on Prednisone and still have symptoms. After checking this website I went to my pharmacy and my prescription was changed back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen at my request. It will cost me more but it is worth my health and well being to pay more. I wrote a review on this before but after reading more of other reviews I realized I had a few more side effects that I didn't realize could come from Ortho Tri-Cyclen.... the vision issue if I was stressed or extremely tired and weird dreams. I do state, once again, this has been a miracle drug for me. The brain fog is almost gone and my fatigue is so much better. I still have pain and am still taking tramadol but the Ortho Tri-Cyclen helps the tramadol work lots better and has helped me cut the dosage. I do wish the headaches would go away permanently but I'll take those over all the other symptoms Ortho Tri-Cyclen has helped. I also haven't thought about taking my dosage 3 times a day instead of 25mg in the morning and 50mg at night. I think that will help. by KORY from Kaylor, SD
Use for Fibromyalgia. Expensive but totally changed my lfe. It will make you a little nauseous for around 3 days, but it goes away after that. Noticed a reduction in pain within a few days.
