Rating this drug, given the new formula, is very difficult. If I had to rate the old formula, it would be all 5's. The old formual allowed me to be up and moving 4-6 hrs each day. Since the change, I have a level of pain that I haven't had since I started taking OC nearly 10 yrs ago and struggle to be up more than 2 hours. This drug helps so many, many people but the change in formula is, in some way, not giving some of us the relief it used to. I hope that there will be some way to return to the old formula for those of us who are suffering more because of the change. As an additional note, I have gone off OC in the past to try others pain meds and never had any of the withdrawl symptoms many have reported they suffered. People are affected very differently by most medications and, because of this fact, I encourage responders to report their own experience accurately but refrain from making blanket statements about how this, or any other medication, will affect others. by ORLANDO from Madeline, CA
Would NOT reccomend! Relief of my Gastritis/Esophogitis but after 6 days on it I developed the most severe headache of my life (I have a 25yr history of migrains) I ended up in the ER. GI Dr said it was the Paxil causing the headache. Discontinued it immediatly and it still took 6 days to work out of my system with a constant severe headache and pain in my shoulder mucsles. I use this 1-2 times a day for OA pain in knees and feet. 50mg/tab. I find it's slow to take effect and reduces but does not eliminate the pain.
