FurosemideXR worked great for my temporary depression when I first started taking it. It seemed like after a few years that it wasn't working as effectively with my monthly PMS,too. The doctors asked me if I wanted to increase the dosage(sure glad I didn't). Now five years later, I want to discontinue taking Furosemide and I feel horrible. I have been decreasing the dosage as my doctor instructed and only stopped taking it all together for five days and feel HORRIBLE. I have all the symptoms that everyone else describes. I am determined to get off this drug sooner or later.
