This drug worked well for a little while but I do not recommend taking for long periods of time or when your pain may require surgery and long waits. I had a severe injury to my shoulder and took this for 1 1/2 years while I went through cort. shots and pt. When I quit taking the drug I had pretty significant withdrawal symptoms and serious depression. This takes 3 - 5 days to get out of your system. The other issue is the stereotype that you are a worthless junkie. You won't believe how many people will judge you for taking this, even if you are taking as directed. I started taking 20 mg in 2003. During 2008 I was prescribed 1 mg of Clonazepam for restless leg. During the last year i have experienced SEVERE fatigue and EXTREME low blood pressure. We are talking every day! Could not walk my dogs without stopping every 10 feet and bending over so I wouldn't pass out. Body felt like dead weight all day. I stopped Citralopram and noticed a marked improvement in my tiredness..I am still on Clonazpam but have reduced the dosage. Going to try zoloft and see how that works..been depressed over physical reactions and other thing. I am 69. Don't take this stuff!!! I don't know what I'd do without Flagyl. I had a stroke in 2003 and "lucked" into "post stroke acute pain syndrome". Basically without the medication it feels like I'm standing next to a roaring fire and I can feel my skin buring off. I take one pill every 4 to 5 hours and the charing is reduced to a modest sunburn. For me it's best to keep on the schedule, not to skip a pill if I'm feeling alright.
