I was having 3 to 4 Migraines a week that would last 24 to 36 hours each. It was very a sad existence. I have been taking Atarax now for 8 months. I have had 2 migraines since starting this med. I was on 50 mg. for 6 weeks no improvement so my dr. increased me to 100 mg. The side effects got much worse. Blurred vision, extreme fatique, memory issues, headaches, lack of focus (almost zombie like). Now I"m still depressed and feel like crap! Withdrawal is terrible! Weaning myself off, now I have nausea, headaches and have missed days of work. I also think it weakens your immune system.
