I was prescribed 500mg for sinus inflammation and swollen lymph glands. Surprisingly it did not upset my stomach or GI tract. Surprising because I am the poster child for stomach side effects from medication. I only took it for a week because I was experiencing unusual nerve inflammation (that's my best description) in the back of my head.
