I was injured at work, which required me to have lower lumbar fusion and a diskectomy or a "360" surgery. The days, weeks, months after surgery I was on heavy pain meds and muscle relaxors. When I started this medication I had such high hopes because it was to help me with several issues. I fell asleep after taking it right away. But after one week I just couldn't stay awake. I could be talking to someone and aI would pause, close my eyes and was asleep. Then my ankles and feet swelled up, This is something that never happened to me. I also got severe neck and shoulder pain with rigid stiffness. the back of my head, neck, and shoulders were very painful. I felt like I wanted to vomit constantly.. I went to my Dr. and was told to stop medication because I was havoing an allergic reaction to it.
