I have ulcerative colitis & Lupus. I refused to take this drug for a long time until my doctor insisted I try it for at least 1 month. I have always had a bad temper and within 3 days of taking this I felt like I was going to explode with anger. I also can't sleep and my shoes don't fit due to the swelling. I'm not going to continue this med. After reading these reviews I think it's best to get off it now. I didn't help me. It made me feel totally numb. I had no emotions: no tears even though I was sad; no laughter even when I knew something was funny. I was just blah. I had zero libido. I also had terrible muscle stiffness. I used to be very limber and I was just horribly stiff. Then I got tremors. My head would start mildly shaking and I couldn't stop it. When I got off of it, the tremors stopped, and it took a little while, but the muscle stiffness went away. I was prescribed this medicine for a uti. Three hours after taking this medicine, I couldn't sleep because of chest pains. I went to the emergency room and was told to continue to take it.
