I have adult diagnosed ADD. Was unable to take concerta-thought I was having a heart attack within an hour of my first dose. Doc then tried wellbrutin-did not work. Next-vyvanse-no results. Started on adderall. Developed the worst case of dry mouth that took over 4 mos. to clear up (after stopping adderall). Started adderall again to see if it will work for me. This drug keeps me from having seizures, unfortunately there are the side effects. I use Lamotrigine (the generic). I have a lot of memory loss. My short term memory is shot. I am in college and it is extreamly tough for me to learn the material. Good notes are required. Its harder for me to concentrate with this drug. I cannot follow two conversations at once. I take 150mg twice a day. The nightly dosage is the toughest. If i take this pill when completely relaxed it seems to make more tired. My friends tell me i say some weird things that i do not remember saying. is does make me drowsy so i need to keep my body moving. If i miss a few dosages i will have a seizure, and i forget the entire previous day(s). i also lose memories. It has thinned out my blood as well. I get headaches often, somtimes migraines. This drug has its side effects, but i would much rather have these side effects than to have seizures all the time. This is an awful feeling, and to have someone to tell you to just calm down and breathe makes it even worse because your mind is so powerful it won’t let you. I am on 600mg 3x for cervical spondilosis. Pain has been reduced by maybe 20%, but I can't see well and I have horrible concentration. I have made typos in my work and my boss wants to know what is wrong with me. I am definitely getting increased suicidal thoughts.
