I have been on this medication for 2 years, after I had the worst anxiety attack in my life. Since I have been on it I can drive without having a panic attack in traffic, I now don't have to worry about having to pull over to the side of the road anymore or wish for a police car to be near me. i have been using norco 10/325 for 3yrs for back pain and unkown stomach pain. After while you have to increase dose or switch to longer acting drug such as oxycontin or morphine. Mixed together they have worked for me but at first hard to adjust to. So 3x day morphine 20m and 8x a day norco 10/325 have worked for me. I wait for a diagnoses so I can get off. At one time dr. had me on 3x a day morphine and oxycontin and 8x norco. I was a zombie and falling asleep while cooking, walking, and just falling straight back. But once off oxycontin It was better. I also have internal bleeding upper gi, possible fibromyalga. Can only sleep 4 hrs a night and had several operations to my stomach like open gastric bypass, open gallbladder, 4 cesearean in which I didnt take very good care of myself after and not drive, lift heavy items as such. which is why I think I have pain in stomach and back. I feel if I strengeth my abdominals and let myself heal I might be better. Until my twin boys are in school I cant commit to such regiman. by ALAN from Pittsburg, CA
I've begun using Methx one month ago. 4, 2.5 pills once a week along with folic acid daily, Pauquinel and Relefen and vitimin D3. The major side effect that I experience is tireness and nausea. I tend to be more forgetful. My fingers continue to swell and twist, wrists hurt. I go in for blood work every other week. I am a 26 year old female and have been taking this medication for only about 2 months now. I can't even explain what a difference it has made for me! I can finally think and follow through on things that I was usually too "scatter brained" to handle before. The only problem I have had is that I have gained 6 pounds since I started the medication. I have been SO hungry! I know that's pretty much the complete opposite than I've seen reported on this site. Maybe it's just me.
