I have been taking this little miracle pill for 30 years.I take it for pain relief of IC and migraine prevention. I take 75m a night. I have gradually moved up to this strength, started at 50m. Yes it will make you sleepy for a while, but that becomes less so. Since I take it at night that is a good thing. I cannot take any pain pills that are narcotic. I'm a bit confused about this med. I am taking it to improve my attention, organizantion skills and alertness during the day. My MD has me taking 15mg 2x per day. worked well the first month now I feel it is not working anymore.(3 months later) I just have a lot of side effects now like, irritability, heartburn, moodswings, headaches and extream tiredness at times. I maybe get a nice hour or two in the am with the first dose. Than all down hill from there. I am a wife and mom of 3 small children. I work in the medical field p/t in a fast paced demanding setting. I feel this med helps me a tiny bit stil but is only masking my real problem. Any surggestions Can't keep up with life!!!
