I was prescribed this medication for migraine headache treatment. I was only on 20mg and did feel good results in the reduction of frequency of my migraines. However, I had a few side effects that worried me a great deal. 1. I was losing a great deal of weight. May sound great to many people, and I was by no means fit, but is sucked to look at food and have zero appetite or hunger. Even just on 20 mg, it did an amazingly annoying job of curbing my appetite. 2. tingling in my fingers and toes. This was extremely troublesome to me. I stayed on the medication because it helped manage my headaches better. But I have been off of them since deciding to get pregnant. This is the drug that has saved my life but at the same time endangered it because of the side effects. It pulled straight through and out of a severe depression, but the drowsiness and effects it has on memory and concentration were I believe the cause of two very problematic things - first a car accident which if it weren't for the safety features of our vehicles, I and a family of 5 could have easily been killed.
