Terrible side effects including weight gain that made depression much worse. Doctors should not just prescribe this med to teens without monitoring side effects. Could never wake up in the morning. Felt like I was walking through fog. Side effects robbed me of two years of my life - I can barely remember them because of this drug. It's several years later - I have had great success off medication and have been able to manage depression with diet, exercise, and lots of work. I have been recently put on this med after 3 years of being on Pristiq. Before cymbalta i was at me lowest, crying, sleeping (ALL THE TIME) no interest in life what so ever.
