Not a brief description so skip this review if you are looking for some stars or one or two words. Worked good at first. As the dosage went up, the side fx did too. 1st two neg side fx were worsening anger and passing semen in urine but a good libido. I'd leak after urinating and had the feeling that I just was not done peeing. After recognizing that my mood, demeanor and everything else was borderline out of control, I pulled a medical no-no (not conferring with my doctor) and stopped the med after 6 weeks, I was up tp 40mg. If I thought the side fx were bad, holy crap coming off this stuff was no joke. I've been on and came off of several diff meds but this one almost done me in. 1st time ever medicated or not that I felt like this medication crap isn't worth it. It's better for me to live miserable than to experience the withdrawal from this. Some things I experienced was: the worst insomnia of my life, uncontrollable anger, falling to sleep and being in a semi-awake state screaming as loud as I could and nothing coming out, extremely talkative at times, no filter or concern about what is said, no energy in the morning, considered separating from my wife and kids and they did nothing wrong, very non-schelaunt attitude and the weird sensation of being shocked or electrocuted (never xperieced that b4), had slight weight gain. Most, if not all of these occurred while coming off and it's taken a lot longer than I anticipated. It's been 2 weeks since I've taken any, I did try to reduce the dosage, evidently I got it wrong. I still have the feeling of not being"just right or being my normal self" and I still feel very detached and emotionless. Sorry for the brief description but it may help someone. My mood did actually improve after a few days, but the side effects were too much for me to handle. I felt completely disconnected from the outside world on day 3 of taking it. I had a sinus infection for about 3 months and decided to do something about it. My Alergist perscribed Ceftin for 10 days but it didn't completely work. So he perscribed Amoxicillin. I felt better after the 2nd day of taking it. I did have chills all of the time but now I have and have had chills once since I started taking Amoxicillin, and my sinus mucus is much clearer. I'm on my 6th day of a 10 day treatment. In my case don't think the side effects are that bad. The only side effects I've had were brief sleepiness in the middle of the night, feeling like I couldn't stay still a couple of times, and some minor stomach pain after eating. I didn't have any intestinal issues. My nose bleeds a little, but that's another something else. I had my thyroid removed a year ago and have been on synthroid since, I have changed it many times...Now with 125mcg I'm still to tired, depressed,pains, etc. and with 137mcg and feel great! But I started getting a little jittery and heart beating a little fast and just wondering if I could alternate between the 2 doses to balance out? Higher dose if definitely better, at least I'm not depressed anymore...Doctors are no help, you have to figure it out yourself because everyone is different and only you no how you feel!
