My 6, year old grandson was given this drug due to his being unable to sit still or stop talking.and he would not listen very good,alway doing what he should not. He is very smart but lost insrented in just a few minutes.His mind seem to go faster then it should. I gave him 1 pill on a Saturday to see what it made him do,so he would be at home. I have been takng this medicaton for 4 years now I am only 14 years old and though at first when I get a new dosage after a few months I start to get my old symptoms back. When I was first diagnosed I was at 25mg now I'm at 175mg. I don't really get the chills but I do get weight gain, tiredness, and I get sick extremely easily so I miss quite a bit of school. I have recently started the glycemic index diet and I have lost about 18 pounds in the last 2 months. I have to go see an endo every 9 months at childrens hospital.
