I take paxil for depression and OCD. I am on a 40 mg per day dose. I have had no weight gain, or other side effects, beyond vivid dreams. The dreams are not disturbing, though. 2.5 years of Stendra and Wellbutrion combo-due to severe chronic pain,depresstion,PTSD,severe anxiety and panic attacks. Somedays are good, somedays are bad. Thinking of asking dr. to change anti-d's. I know Wellbutrion wasn't enough to stabilize things but, I really don't know if the Stendra is doing anything. I am always extremely honest at the dr. (you have to be,they are not mind readers) I am fortunate to have a wonderful caring dr. who I feel really cares about me,I don't feel like another # & I don't feel rushed. This helps me a lot. I am also on other med's and I find it embarrassing. Sometimes when I pick up my script or med's I have anxiety attacks were I can't breath, shaky, numb hands&fingers, racing heartbeat and I am SO afraid I will pass out (& pee my pants) It's so asinine of me. I've been on Stendra for far longer than I should have. It is VERY inexpensive as a generic. Then had trouble getting it switched which only happened today. I'm glad this helps so many people. For me the fatigue has been ruining my life. Right now I have full blown signs of depression again while on 40mg of Stendra. I will be trying Lexapro now (fingers crossed!). well, other than the weight gain that this drug causes, i finally feel 'normal'. this is not to say that i'm always 'up', but i do have way more good days now than dark days. i've happily traded the weight gain for the great mental state. i've started walking the dogs, using a treadclimiber and even started to work out. i hope that this will help with the weight gain. if not, at least i feel good. by TRENTON from Valley Springs, CA
