I was under a tremendous amount of stress at work and was losing alot sleep because of it. My doctor prescribed Zolpidem. i have been taking this medication at half 15grams pill for 3weeks now increased to 1 pill have been on for 4 days.In the third week on a half i was feeling a lot better ,then went downhill so doctor increased to 1 pill so far no change but I might have to wait longer for meds to take effect. Today, 3 May 2013 is my first day taking Citalopram (CeleXA EQ), 10MG. My goal today is to report back in 30-days and let you know how well I am doing. My current symptoms are exaclty like those portrayed on the Cymbalta commercial. No energy to do anything, don't want to socialize, don't want to clean up, don't want to go anywhere or do anything fun. Absolutely NO energy and I am so very sad, seemingly for no apparent reason. All I have energy/motivation to do is to go to work (because I have to) and get in bed...everyday, every weekend and I'm tired of being tired! I've been on Effexor and Cymbalta in the past and did not want to restart either of those. I didn't like Effexor and Cymbalta made my skin and eyes "yellow" considerably. Started this med 5 years ago. It allowed me to sleep. I stopped taking it over the past 3 months. It became too expensive. Asked my doctor to try something else and I was told it is not habit forming. If I missed one dose I could not sleep at all. It took me 3 months to wean off of it. Now, I cannot sleep at all.
