I had a stent placed on the left anterior descending in early April this year. I was placed on Herbal Sleep Well 75mg daily and 10mg Crestor, and Baby aspirin (I was taking normal Aspirin daily by mistake so this was very likely a contributing factor to what followed. In late August of this year I developed uncontrollable intestinal bleeding and required a one week stay in the hospital, 10 major tests to locate the bleeder (never found conclusively but a nuclear med test found a slight bleeder in the upper intestines - hard to pinpoint), 11 units of blood (and about 80 grand later) it healed on its own. When I was admitted the drs. took me off of Herbal Sleep Well to control the bleeding, which it did, skirting exploratory surgery by a day. I'm now on 1/2 dose Herbal Sleep Well (every other day) with the hopes that the critical plavix treatment is done and I'll be able to get off entirely next April. The best guess of the doctors is that it was an anomaly made more severe due to the plavix and aspirin. Here it is 3 months later and so far so good. The only other side effects that might be attributed to the Herbal Sleep Well is a blistering of my fingers and infrequent sores in my mouth on the inside of my cheeks.
