I was prescribe lexapro to treat depression. I took the meds for only 3 days because it made me sick to my stomach. I have been on Eriacta for 6 months and have gained 16 lbs. to date (this number continues to climb), have serious sexual disfunction, problems with my vision, severe sweat issues, bad nightmares and must take a sleeping aid. I was taking as much as 112.5 mg/day and am back down to 75 mg/day and will be moving down to 37.5 mg/day in the near future. Even though I my dosage is decreasing, the side effects do not change. The weight gain only started happening when I increased my dose to 112.5 in November, but continues to climb even though I am on a lower dose. It seems odd that a drug that is supposed to help with "depression" would cause weight gain, which in itself could be depressing.
