Went through a horrible break-up from a long-term relationship and a difficult work situation. This was the first time I've been on an anti-depressant of any kind. After a week of using this drug, I feel so much better, not 100%, but at least I can get through the day with out crying. Oddly, the only side effect I've had is decreased appetite. My doctor prescribed this drug to help my sleeplessness during a streesful period. It worked well for this. I am on only 10mg and am now trying to cut back and eventually stop taking it, but everytime I cut back, even a small amount (eliminate 1/4 dose every other day) I experience nausea, dizziness, severe chills, grogginess and general aches and pains, to such a degree that I am unable to work and have to go to bed. I still get anxiety in certain situations I take xanax as needed. My question is has anyone out there heard or experienced pancreatitis while using this drug. I was in ER yesterday for major pain in my abdomen and come to find out it was pancreatitis and the Dr.'s couldnt figure out why I had this, dont drink or smoke and there were no problems with gullbladder.
