In July of 2008, I began to sleep walk, in doing so I have attempted to cook. I have also fallen downstairs while trying to do laundry. From each of these falls I suffered severe head injuries that have left me highly sensitive to most light sources. I also, hurt myself during this period, when my dogs were trying to get me up to let them outside. I remember opening the door, the next thing I new I was laying on my back on the ground and was in more pain than I had ever experienced in my life. It took me over a year to get to walk again through the house with a cane and I still cannot wake or sit normally without causing me a lot of pain. I have been sent to physical therapy multiple times and have been told that there really isn't anything that they can do. Cortisone shots do not work, they just cause me more pain. I have ben unable to work since this occurred. I am in the process of filling for Disability, also I would much rather be working as well. I posted on 6/10/2009 that I was on 2mg with Pristiq and had to go off abilify. The depression returned without it but had akathisia. Taking half of a 2mg pill now and depression is better but do not feel right. Going to another Doctor since mine said "There's not much more I can do for you." by KRISTOPHER from Kremlin, OK
absolutley the worst med i have ever taken. Took it for about 2 yrs, progressively over the two years I lost 25 lbs, became aggressive, impulsive, anxious, and severely depressed. my 7 year old son has been on vyvance for a year at first it was hard, lots of side effects like stomach cramps,cranky, had a neck twich and was seeing bugs everywhere but over time they have all almost gone away. he went from being so bad i couldn't even take him to the store he would tear things up to now he is a wonderful child. i feel like i can enjoy my child again. all meds have a different affect on all people but no matter what you try you have to give it time for your body to adjust it won't happen in a few days or even a few months it is a big change that takes time. my son has had very good results now that he has been on vyvance for a while after a few months i was ready to take him off it but stuck it out and the side effects have gotton much better. he does need something to help he sleep but we had that problem even before starting the meds. just keep tyring and give it time to work it's worth it. by DANNY from Pitts, GA
