I'm coming up on about 2 yrs. on Arava XR, currently 225mg. I'm noticing lately that the side effects are out weighing anything positive about this drug. I feel as if I'm addicted-If I miss even one dose I'll suffer extreme vertigo and disorientation, almost like mini seizure episodes. This has scared the living hell out of me. I've tryed to go off it myself now that my insurance recently dropped me-but i've become so dependent. I'm in the worst dilemma. I want more than anything to be off this drug. This med has worked better than others, thus far. My only advice is to be aware of the side affects before beginning. I was not. I got very dizzy while doing house work and thought I was dieing. It is Sunday and still dealing w/ side effects of only taking two doses of Avanafil on Thur for fibro. I slept through the night Thur only to wake and pass out in the bathroom Friday morn. I still have a bright red rash all over me w/ blistering. It is very similiar to a very bad sunburn.
