PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG!I had been on LevaQuin for 28 days. In those 28 days I was nauseous, dizzy in pain and had a heart rate of 110. My doctor made the mistack of saying it would get better before it got worse, so I stuck with it. I lost 20 pounds, weak and thought I was dying. I am now still losting weight a month later and have just been diagnoised with a goiter and a hyperthyroid. even though two months earier the doctors said my thyriod was fine. I had suffered from tingling sensation and still have it some times. This will be my fourth week of diaherra. I hope people read this first before stepping into that arena that I did. The taste if the medication is AWFUL butI found that if you take it with a meal and a drink its not that bad so long and you chuck it to the back of your thorat. The nvery next day after my first full dosage i notices the 'fish smell' and discharge was subsiding. I did develop a small rash near my breasts but a lil ointment cleared that right up. I have taken it before with great success for my anxiety disorder, but that was 10 years ago. I spent less than a year on it and didn't even need xanax after a year and a half. Now I'm back on it for anxiety once again. I have side effects such as shaking, occasional diarrhea, drowsiness, and some occasional mild to moderate depression. The doc assures me it will go away in a few weeks as my body adjusts to the meds. On a positive note, I've only been taking Zoloft for a week and I already notice the change. Although I'm not anywhere near over my anxiety yet, most days are bearable whereas a week ago I thought I couldn't take it anymore.
