I took this pill for the first time at 7pm, with my dinner. By 10pm I was so sick to my stomach I wanted to vomit. I finally fell asleep only to be tossing, turning, wide awake, the entire night!!! I've taken this drug for about 4 months. Almost immediately I began having joint pain, my hands began to swell and my bowels were negatively effected. My life has been miserable. I've had an echocardiogram, every blood test imaginable all normal, except for me. I'm in agony. I am stopping the drug today and hope soon these symptoms will go away. My 11 yo son has been taking Seroflo Inhaler for 8 mos. I didn't notice any side effects, and the medicine was woking beautifully. We went for his checkup yesterday and his resting heartrate was 128 bpm. The allergit we see said just recently, she had another patient about the same age as my son have an elevated heartrate. That boy was seeing a cardiologist, and the doctor told the mother that it was a side effect of the Seroflo Inhaler. Both the allergist and our regular doc had never heard of that. When we left the office 1 hour and 1 EKG later, his heartrate was 115 pm. This AM, after not taking his meds last night, it was 84. He is still on his Flovent, and we're swiching him to Allegra, which I hope works. He has always been a contrary kind of kid, and he was no more than usual...I don't think.
