I still have many symptoms after 5 years of treatment. Sometimes I think I have an allergic reaction to the medication( shortness of breath)And have gone on to develope hypertension, diabetes, muscle aches and joint pain and weight gain. I can't lose the weight I've gained despite 4 diets and a consult with a dietician. I am now eating less than 1000 calories a day to ward off anymore weight gain, but unfortunately I have gained over 60lbs and am now considered obese.I would like to try another medication, but can't find a doctor to perscribe one. hello i started taking this medication july 8th and so far i have lost 20 lbs. At first i would get headaches but the past few weeks i havent had one. i didnt do any excersing until i went to the doctor and he told me that i lost 16 lbs, so i said well i need to start excersing before i get flabby. but i eat want i want but just only small portions and of course i have dry mouth but that only means that you drink more water which is good for you anyway. i plan on losing 50 more pounds i hope i can do it! by JUSTIN from New Bremen, OH
