iv been using synthroid for about 2 months now and so far nothing. i have had no effect what so ever. my thyroid had failed a few years ago so my brain has been compensating for the chemicals that my thyroid has not been producing. i weigh 120 and im 5 foot 4. i just now found out that this medication is really nothing more than salt and suger and i feel that this treatment is not right for me. if any one els has this problem i feel that you should find an other more effective treatment. by EMMETT from North Stonington, CT
I take this medication in conjunction with Paxil (20mgs) and Clonazepam (1/2 grain). The bottle of Clonazepam directs me to take the pill at night but I take one-half in the a.m. after my coffee and 1/2 at bedtime. I have no side effects and between the two of them it keeps my anxieties under control. I'm not planning on stopping these meds.Why stop taking something that works satisfactorily? by JESSIE from North Matewan, WV
This is a question for anyone that has been taking this medication for longer then 5 months, has anyone noticed the effects of the drug decreasing? I started taking adipex in March 2008, I stopped in August 2008, however I continued taking a few pills now and then, but I noticed if I take them now my energy increases but my appitete doesnt decrease like before. I Was diagnosed with a herniated L4 three years ago and had just recently had a flare up of spasms in my lower and mid back. In the past the doctor has prescribed Flexoril and Robaxin for my muscle pain/spasms and it worked poorly. Now that i have been prescribed Baclofen, i have had great results.
