I'm super happy that the BV is gone--for now, as I know it will return in a couple months. I am actively seeking more natural treatments for sure. I've taken the Ceftin a few times in my life, and I'm 45. This time, I experienced fatigue, upset stomach, bloating, constant headache, and the worst--depression. I cried over everything for a few days, became paranoid about my relationship, and was emotionally so miserable I'd almost rather have the BV!!! WHY is there no other treatment for this condition? Today, off the medication after stopping at day 9 of 10, am feeling gradually more normal. It's been more than 24 hours since the last dose. I'm just shocked that there isn't a better treatment. I've been taking lyrica for a month now for migraines and it's done more harm than good. I take it at night, but still feel awful in the morning. I've had a headache every day since beginning this drug. I have tried a number of daily meds to try and cut the number of headaches I get and would say this is by far the worst, so far. ive just finished my 6th(oct) 7th (nov) & 8th(jan) back surgeries. been on pain meds since 1986, 60mg oxycontin and 10/325 percocets since 1999. I now have had 3 fusions and an osteotomy. my dr. is trying to get me off the oxy`s. he lowers the mgs each month and has replaced my percocets with roxicodone 15mg. the roxi seems to work fairly good, but at my next appt im just going to tell my dr. to get rid of the oxycontin for good and raise my roxi`s to 30 mg 6x day. the only pain i deal with now is constant chronic pain in my legs and my left foot burns at times which i think i can control with the 30mg roxi`s. by the way, all these "codones" are VERY addictive and easy to overuse ie "selfmedicate" my wife keeps these meds locked in a safe and gives me my daily doses. by WALDO from Occidental, CA
