I am on day two and noticed about two hours after taking I was weak and almost dizzy, hours later my blood pressure was 98/55. I took Endep early today, and after breakfast took my BP med Valsartan Hidrochlorothaizide. Should I take the BP med latter in the day? Should I call my Dr. about this? Although this drug help with depression, the effects were short-lived. From the beginning I was unable to sleep. If I did get sleep, it was never more than 3 hours. I'd be awake until complete exhaustion set in and then I'd sleep for 12 hours, when I'd awake feeling more fatigued and run-down than ever. The beneficial anti-depressive aspects of this drug lasted about 10 days, then I started feeling depressed again. I also experienced a lack of appetite, diarrhea, and slight memory loss. Started on 10mg. for sleep and anxiety. Worked very well. Over the years have increased to 20mg which produced side effects of shakiness, ringing in ears, cold hands & feet, heartburn, fast heartbeat, some nausea. As for weight gain, yes but minor and controlled with excercise and watching what you eat. If I don't take it , I don't sleep very well and my fibromyalgia pain flares up.
