ive been on pristiq for almost 4 wks, the first 2 days i felt great!! i thought wow this med really works...well i was wrong. i started to feel worse.im back to feeling depressed, im always hungry and cant stop eating(gained 10 lbs so far while on it), i have little or no sexual desire at all, and im always so sleepy (even if i take it before bed ill be sleepy all morning and pretty much all day) a friend told me to stay on it a couple more weeks. she said it would get better but i refuse to keep taking it. i just hope that my withdrawal symptoms are not worse. this is a terrible med and dont recommend it to anyone!!!! by LANDON from Nisula, MI
Have been taking 50 mg at night for insomnia due to Fibromyalgia pain for 5 years. Works very well for getting a full 8 hours sleep. I wake up without being groggy. I did put on about 35 lbs which I can't seem to lose. But being able to sleep through the misserable pain I had in my legs is worth the extra weight.
