First of all, I am not a quack or crazy. I am a generally healthy 50 yr. old that is was not on ANY meds before getting pneumonia. I would not recommend this drug. Unfortunately,I still have pneumonia after being on it 7 days. I did sleep better but I think that was because of the cough surup. My main concern was how tierd, nauseous and dizzy I felt, especially the first 4 days! On the third day, I felt loopy and felt like my eyes were playing tricks on me and things were moving that shouldn't have been moving. I have been disoriented too. My copay was $60 and for prolonging this another week I am not satisfied. Looks like they are going to suck the mucus out of my lungs with a broncoscopy. Been on this med for over two years and have developed leg cramping, joint pain, feet swelling, and gout diagnosis. Willbe changing my doctor because he emphatically states these conditions not caused by drug. never had these symptoms prior to using this drug. i have found out with the drugs flagyl/keflex you need to eat i know they say you can take them on an empty but don't believe it. this is what i do. i have cream of wheat with flagyl put the med in a spoon full of cream of wheat & drink a glass of milk it really helps & the same with keflex but with that one i do a bowl of oats drop the pill in the spoon full of oats down it with a glass of milk, i don't know what to tell you if you don't like milk, try some yogart or something thick. i hope this will help someone thank you by CLAYTON from West Kennebunk, ME
