Due to chronic pain I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep for more than 1.5-2 hours at a time. Falling asleep can take up to 1.5 hours. Amoxil at 5mg didn't work very well but I am now taking 10mg and I take it approximately 1 hour before bedtime and have no problem falling asleep and if I wake up in the night it is now only once a night instead of every 1.5-2 hours. I have only used Amoxil for a month or so, almost every night to fall asleep. i have conversations, am intimate with my boyfriend, say things i wouldn't normally, get angry the next day, am depressed, and it is ruining my relationship with my boyfriend, and i even had a night where i didn't even wake up when my four month old was crying very hard, wanting a bottle. i never remember the first bottle i give her after going to sleep, and have memory loss effecting my work and college. i am trying to stop this medication, but i am addicted, and it is hard. when you cant sleep at night and there is a pill you can take to almost instantly put you to sleep, that honestly makes you feel like you are drunk and high, it is not easy to stop taking it knowing you wont be able to sleep. I have severe back pain acompanied by sciatica. I have tried Percocet 10mg to Ceftin 5mg. Ceftin 5mg works the best, it relieves the pain and doesnt make me sick. ive read some of the reviews and it seems like more dr error than anything. also NO ONE SHOULD EVER TAKE THE GENERIC FORM OF THIS MEDICATIN I.E. LEVOTHYROXINE!!!!!! I know its cheaper but it is not the same as the name brand "synthroid" when i swithced to the generic i experienced all the symtoms i had when not taking medication at all ive been on this drug for 8 years i swithced to generic for 4 months in that 4 months i became depressed couldnt seem to get of the couch or even out of bed half my hair feel out and i gained 20lbs regardless of the fact that i hardly ate anything switched back to name brand at the insistance of my endocronologist and have never had any side effects from it its a life saver for me i feel completely normal i have energy i lost the weight i had gained and my hair grew back in it can be hard to remember to take it at the same time everyday because you can not eat for 2 to 3 hours before you take it or 1 hr after you take it also can not be taken with certian vitamin supplement because they innhibbit absorbtion but its very important to have your thyroid levels test regularly be cause the amout you need can change suddenly and without warning after youve been on the medication for a while youll learn to recognize the signs that your meds need to be adjusted witch involes a simple blood test it is recomened that after you become stable on the meds (witch for me took about 3 months) you get your level tested once a year but i have mine checked every 6 months and sometimes more by MARCUS from Topsfield, ME
