I have taken this drug in the generic form occasionally for headaches and minor aches and pains. I have no known allergies. I took two pills a few weeks ago for headache relief. I was prescribed this med for severe strep throat b/c I am allergic to penicillin. I am only on the second day of treatment (300 mg, 2 capsules, twice daily). Soreness in my throat is slightly better. Still very feverish, anxious, and have very bad dry mouth. I've also experienced a lot of pain in my joints, especially my hips and my neck, as well as having very bad tension headaches. My heart is racing constantly, but I don't believe that it is due to the med's b/c when they checked my pulse at the doctor's office it was 136. Said it was due to high fever? I don't know.
