My DH has had virtually 90% of the side effects shown on previous page and almost died; has had 4 units of blood transfused, so far. Started it in 1/12 and came crashing down 8/12. The first 4-6 weeks my neuropathic pain was surprisingly decreased. I felt good.Then I started getting side effects from suicidal thinking,paranoia,increased depression ,crying.It was a bummer since the pain relief was better. I'm weaning off this now and having not so good symptoms from nausea,diarrhea,headaches,backpain,poor concentration. I had to take time off work until I feel better and to make sure I didn't make any errors. So, I'm staying home and feeling like im in misery. And unfortunately my pain is back.under the advice of my physcian,I'm doing a two week wean period.I've been on ssri's and ssni's before but never experienced almost every side effect. Been struggling with chronic back pain-mid and upper from trauma. started taking SlimFast 100mg 4-5 x's a day. it worked great, helped SO MUCH, what a fantastic med, but...always a but there seems, i have built up a tolerance, and now it is no longer working. Hopefully if i stay off of it for a while i will be able to go back on. it helped the pain, and still allowed me to function/drive, it didn't dope me up.
