First time outbreak. Doc prescribed the 4 gram one day treatment as recommended for cold sores when my lips were tingling. I took this for only 2 days - day 3 I had a major panic attack. I am having palpitations, racing thoughts, horrible GI problems, I fainted, cold sweats, and an inability (and fear) of sleep.
