This medication was the best thing for my anxiety & panic disorder, I have tried a few others but this was by far the best. The only side effects I had were falling down, falling asleep spontaneously and bleeding (like i was on a blood thinner). I am a 30 year old female, and I've been on Levothyroxine for about 6 weeks. I have subclinical hypothyroidism, but I have every symptom except the dry skin, so I was put on Levothyroxine. I started at 25 mcg, and felt exactly the same. I've been taking 75 mcg per day for about a month, and the changes have been pretty subtle. The only negative thing that happened was that my throat felt tight for about a week. I can feel it doing that when I work out, too. It felt like that lump in your throat you get when you're trying not to cry. I do feel slightly less fatigued, and my heart rate has evened out. I'm also a little warmer, and it's not as hard to leave my warm shower in the morning. :-) I have been a little hungrier, but my weight is dropping every so slightly. I was hoping for big weight loss, but so far it's barely moving. I've spent years trying very hard to lose weight, so I'm hoping it will finally happen.
