My son is 6 yrs old and also has ODD on top of the ADHD. He is started off taking 30 mg of this and it was great the first 2 weeks and didnt help much other than focus at school after that. His dose was upped to 50 mg and again, the first 2 weeks it was good then his behavior starts back up. He has been able to focus in school and is a great student but by the time he gets home he is not so nice and its pretty hard getting him to sleep. He is now taking melatonin for the sleep issues and it helps a great deal but his antagonizing, loud & obnoxious behavior is still ever present. Not sure if I should trade up a well mannered child for a good student or if we need to try something else.
