Been taking Alesse for a few months now. For the first week - I was started on a 30mg dose to acclamate my body. Lot's of nausea & sleepiness. Then I ramped up to the 60mg dose where I turned into a Zombie & did not interact with my kids or wife. After a month or 2 of taking a 1 hour nap after work & typically missing dinner, I asked my Dr. to drop it down to 30mg. Now I experience the sleepiness again. I did find that Alesse helped me straighten out, but my depressive thoughts did not go away - they were only suppressed.
