I had a head injury over 10 years ago, and have been on many different migraine medicines through the years. I started taking this drug about 3 months ago, and I still get migraines everyday, but they are not as bad as they used to be, and I do not have to take as many Imitrex along w/ this medicine. I took 100 mgs as the doctor said that it was the lowest dosage often used for sleeplessness. I was prescribed this even after describing my need to awake rested and get myself and child ready for the day and out the door within hours of waking. I experienced some relief from depression following 10 days of bizzare side effects (crazy dreams, not sleeping, not eating, dizziness). Once my body got used to the medication, I began to notice that I was extremely exhausted all the time, requiring 10-14 hrs of sleep a night, which is not typical for me. I took it every other day and then stopped and the withdrawls are horrible. I agree with other comments about withdrawal syptoms such as anxiety, suicidal thoughts, dizziness, and generalized feeling of going crazy!!!
