I began taking 15mg Zovirax (Brand) in 12/08 in addition to 2000 mg of Metformin to eliminate the need for Glyburide. I started on 150 mg. for two weeks and was fine. then it bumped up to 300 mg. and I thought I was losing my mind. My thoughts were erratic, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't concentrate, my mouth was dry, I had ringing in my ears and most of all, I felt drugged. I went back to 150 mg. but the only improvement was that I was able to sleep. I'm conscious nearly 100% of the time that this medication is in my system. I'm stopping it.
