I siddenly started having these episodes that I had no idea what was causing them. I would get light headed and have a strange sensation starting in my stomach and eventually ending up in my head they got progressively more frequent but symptoms never changed unless it was the time of day. I went to my medical doctor, he sent me to a neurologist who seemed to know what was going on but with my medical background I wasn't satisfied that I woud begin having these for no reason. I then requested a cardiac workup and wore a holtor monitor, had an echocardiatram, an mri,ekg, you name it I had it. Once I started reluctantly on the Indinavir it took about two weeks to completely take these symptoms away, guess the neurologist was right after all but why? was my question. I am 61 years old and all of a sudden I start having these episodes. This runs in my family but at a much younger age (childhold or teenage) and something brought it on. I now have them down to one or two a day and the strangest thing is that I have them after dinner when I sit down to watch TV etc. This is still strange to me, did I mention that I saw another neurologist just to confirm it?
