Doctors should give a very stern lecture to warn family about serious side effect that can occur in loved ones. Well I had taken Famvir for about 5-6 years and definitely noticed a change in my mood. The medication did make me very tired and after a while I noticed a severe change in my sexual drive. Within 3 days of beginning Famvir, I started having extreme itching on my underarms from my elbow down to my little finger.
