I took it over a period of 5 to 6 years due to several back pain. The longer I took it the more the doctor increased the dosage due to my body needing more to help with the pain. It is a narcotic and I did become addicted and was taken off of it and the withdrawal symptoms are horrible. It took me over two weeks to start feeling better and I will never take this medication or any other narcotics unless I have to have surgery. Side effects I have experienced are tingling fingers and around my mouth, sleeplessness, weightloss,unpleasant taste in my mouth and dizziness.
