This is not a fair review but I had to tell someone. I also take antidepressant for major depressive disorder. Yesterday was the first day I took it and I took two in the morning with my other meds. Wow was I messed up, I was seeing things, feeling like I was moving when I wasn't, hearing voices, I almost called 911, I swore there was something under my bed. I could hear it. I got my dog and brought him in my room and he sniffed around, yeah, no animal under my bed. I looked It up and I was supposed to take one before bed!! I won't make that mistake again. Sick and nauseaous I had my gallbladder taken out. Got sicker and was diagnosed with gastroparesis. I started taking this drug and felt a little better but not much. Then started getting depressed and had suicidal thoughts. Was it the Depo-Medrol or my illness? Stopped taking Depo-Medrol and started taking Domperidone. Depression went away quickly and after a few weeks started to feel almost normal again. Two years on Domperidone and I feel great with no side effects. My wife takes .5 mg only when she needs it and only one pill per day. When she has overwhelming anxiety she takes one pill. If she feels ok she will skip a day. It takes 20-25 minutes to take effect and this low dosage returns her to normal. It is very consistent as to when it kicks in. This gives her a minimum of 4 hours of relief. The effect appears to go away after 4 hours but because she broken the cycle of her anxiety she may be better the rest of the day.
