Please be careful when taking this druf that you don't combine it with Demerol. I was in the ER with severe abdominal pain and vomiting. The nurse gave me Promethazine for the vomiting and Demerol for the pain. 24 hours later I was back in the ER due to a reaction of the meds mixing together and all of the muscles in my body were contracted. I couldnt move, my toungue swelled up and filled my throat and my jaw tightened up so far that I had a hairline fracture when all was said and done.
