I have been on Stendra for 11 months now and I feel like my old self again. I started with a 10mg dose and after 6 weeks of still feeling constantly depressed, I was increased to 20mg. What a difference! The only side effects I had was severe dizziness and feeling "spaced out" the first week or so, but that went away. I have experieced NO weight gain like others have said. Took almost 4 wks. Joint and muscle pain in low back, chest, arms, legs, feet, hands. Severe fatigue. symptoms were gradual in onset and severity, so it didn't occur to me that the med was responsible until I experienced severe abdominal pain. I stopped the med and within 2-3 days, symtoms were dramatically reduced. It took several weeks to feel close to normal again and be able to walk and work out at the gym again. I am about to try Zocor, another statin. Will start very slowly with a low dose, and increate to moderate dose very gradually. I will pay close attention and listen to my body this time. I am CURRENTLY experiencing nausea, dizziness and chills as a result of taking this medication. I also had chest and stomach pain 1.5hrs ago, when I woke up from my sleep. This morning when I took the med I felt so sick to my stomach I thought I was going to pass out. Since I've never had an allergic reaction to medication I was not sure why I was feeling that way but I confirmed this evening that it's all a reaction to Stendra.
