Take this for sciatic nerve pain on both sides that interferes with sleeping and sitting. I do find that it helps with both. I do get that "drunk" feeling if I take too much but Drs are prescribing WAY WAY too high doses. 100 mg works awesome for SO many people and there isn't any of the drunkenness. I have avoided nightmares by taking Efexor at night. This also helped with nausea and vertigo in the early stages until enough accumulated in my system. The reverse happened when I was first weaned off it.So taking it at night was right for me and it also kept me awake during the day so I slept better at night. However the weight gain, high blood pressure and cholesterol have caused me to decide that the side affects could possibly be more dangerous for me than the depression.
