This medication has kept my depression from fluctuating as much as it did before taking it. I have no listed side effects with it, however I have been having dreams at night that aren't like me. They are terrible dreams in which people are dying and its a matter of survival. Most of them have been zombie like dreams where people are coming to get you and you have to kill them and/or run away from them and find a safe spot. Started taking this medication to try to avoid taking Ativan. The Ativan works but makes me sleepy. The Renova was HORRIBLE~! The first day I used it my pulse ran up to the point where I thought my heart was going to come out of my chest andmy blood pressure ran sky high. I was dizzy,bad naseaua and severe headache. I waited it out and took it again the second day when I realized that it was not going to work. The symptoms the second day were twiced as bad as the first day. It was the point where I could not walk from the couch to the kitchen..... When that cleared my system I never took it again. I have since then tried Buspar which was o.k but not getting the result I was looking for. Have been pprescribed Lexapro.. will start that tomorrow but still have my Ativan and that I shall keep . It is the best one so far if I could take it during the day. I have a 6 year old Autistic son so I HAVE to be very alert during the day. This drug has been a miracle drug for me. At 53 I never thought I had ADHD, but within days of starting this medication I could concentrate and focus so much better. Because it is so expensive, I take the 60mg capsules, and titrate them in water to create 30mg dosages for two days. Also, the drug wears off around 5:30pm and I crash big time and get very depressed. Takng a small dose of Adderall helps with the rest of the day.
